    If you are a vegetarian and looking for some delicious protein based meat like product, this is the product for you. Even non–vegetarians can also use it as this is unlike chicken, free from hormones and antibiotics. I used one pack. I highly recommend it and intend using it again.

    These are the few things I noticed when using the Green Meat Plant Based Curry Cuts. As someone who likes eating meat but is on a strict vegetarian diet, I would say this really surprised me a lot.

    1. Smell: The reason for my 4 star review is because of the smell that came from it. It was a bit unbearable, but gets cleared once frying starts after the 30 minute marination.

    2. Texture: It really took me off guard when I had the first bite. It felt like eating real meat and completely fooled me for a minute. I had to remind myself that I wasn’t eating real meat but a meat substitute.

    3. Ease of cooking: Cooking it was pretty much straight forward. It even says pressure cooking is not needed as it is mostly cooked. Just a 30 minute marination and later frying.

    4. Value for money: I wouldn’t say it is the best option of buying every single day since it is a bit pricey, but it definitely helps with the non vegetarian cravings a bit.

    I would definitely recommend this product but would certainly warn them about the smell once they open the package. I hope this helped you a little. Note: Try using the product in batches or try finishing it in a day. The taste kind of changes the next day if you try storing some of the cooked portion.

How does it compare to meat?

Similar texture, less fat, and superior protein content, but cooks in half the time and is completely plant-based. Also contains plenty of dietary fibres, which is good for your gut health.

When I open the pack, the pieces appear to stick to each other. Why is this so? How to separate the pieces?

The pieces appear to be glued to each other due to the effect of vacuum packing. To separate the pieces, first cut open the inner pouch and then gently press on the two sides of the pack. Most of the pieces will separate during this. After that, you can transfer the pieces to a bowl and manually separate any pieces which are still glued to each other.

Do I need to wash it before cooking?

Do not wash the Greenmeat. Just marinate for around 30 minutes and cook using your favourite recipe.

Do I need to soak it first?

No washing or pre-soaking needed for Greenmeat Curry Cuts. Just marinate for around 30 minutes and cook.

How long can I store it?

12 months at room temperature when unopened. Cook immediately after opening the inner pouch. If there is any leftover, store it in freezer.
